6 mo

Kai guy burgers and fries is 6 mo old today!!!! It's so crazy how fast these 6 mo have gone by. 

He can hold his own bottle. He still drinks 6 oz every 3 hours. He eats last around 830p and goes to sleep around 9p. He then sleeps until 7a. He rocks on his hands and knees. He rolls and spins all over. He plays with toys and has such a cute laugh. He has chewed on carrots. Tried rice cereal. And loves to eat crackers. For the most part he is a happy baby. He has been a little fussy lately when he sees me and I don't pick him up and when his "almost coming in 2 bottom teeth" start bugging him. He loves his big brothers. He loves his paci 

Kids!!!!

Today Kashe said, "I hate you mom" and called me "stupid". And while I was folding laundry they were playing in the toilet. I caught Kashe with toilet water on his face and Koda playing with a flashlight in the toilet. This all took place within 1 min!!! 

Lovely! Gotta love being a mom :)

Kai guy burgers and fries is 5mo old!

Kai is five months old today! He is such a happy baby. 

He likes being talked to, he likes being tickled, and loves kicking his feet. When we went swimming a couple of days ago he kicked and kicked and kicked. He loves swimming. He's also getting pretty wild when he eats his bottle. He kicks so much you can barely eat. It's so funny. 

His laugh is so cute! And he loves smiling. He still eats every three hours and he eats 6 ounces. He has tried a little bit of orange squash and some of mommies frozen yogurt. He eats around 9 PM or 11 PM and sleeps usually until 530 or 830a.

He sits really well in his Bumbo. He rolls all the time front and back. He loves playing with toys. And he loves his brothers entertaining him. Kashe got him laughing this morning. 

He brings such a sweet spirit into our home.

4 months

Kai is 4 months old. He can turn onto his side. He eats 6 ounces about every three hours. He sleeps through the night… Which is so nice! If we put him to bed around 10 or 11p, after a bottle, he will sleep until seven or eight in the morning. Today on July 1 he had his four-month doctor visit. He is approximately in the 70th percentile for height and approximately the 37th percentile for weight. He's doing great! He even laughs. It's so cute to hear him giggle. His eyes are a hazel blue gray brown. It depends on his outfit. Ha ha! 

Today had to get two shots… It was so sad to see him cry. 

This picture was taken at the Thanksgiving point Discovery Museum. He loved the water table… But not as much as Lauren she splashed and splashed and splashed.

Koda

Today when we were walking out of church, I was carrying koda, and he said, "mommy I like you". He is so sweet!!!

Kashe

When he is upset and wants to be picked up he says, "mommy I can't hold myself".  It makes me laugh. 

Memorial Day

Today I talked to Rob. My Uncle Rob has been like a second dad to me growing up. He always knew what to do. He always knew how to help. He always took care of everyone in the family. And now I'm having a hard time coming to terms with…him nearing the end of his time here on earth. It's been really hard. I know this is part of the Plan of Salvation. It still makes it heartbreaking.

Kai laughed for the first time yesterday. First I wasn't sure if he really laughed… But then we got him to do it again and again it was so cute. He is getting so big and today it looks like he found his feet because he's grabbing them with his hands. He's such a cutie!

Yesterday, Leon came to see him for the first time. This was great… I didn't think Leon wanted to see him. So it was really good. Kai was a little bit fussy… But that's okay. It was a good meeting!!

Today Kai had his two month doctor visit. He is doing great! The doctor said he is his most favorite two-month-old. He smiled and cooed at the doctor the whole time. Poor little guy though… He had to get his shots.
